The museum is located in the Muratpa?a district of Antalya. This museum, situated quite close to the city center, can be visited while strolling through the streets of Kaleiçi. Sunay Ak?n, a poet and writer, had a significant influence on the opening of this Antalya Toy Museum, which is a project of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. Sunay Ak?n, who previously pioneered the opening of toy museums in Istanbul and Izmir, made great efforts to bring such a museum to Antalya, and the museum opened its doors on April 23, 2011, on the National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Since then, the museum has been flooded with visitors, except on Mondays, and can be visited on other days of the week. The museum opens its doors at 9:30 AM and remains open until 6:30 PM.

What will you see in the museum?

As soon as you step into the museum, you'll encounter Nasreddin Hodja and his donkey. Then you'll embark on a journey through fairy tales and see characters like Keloglan, Cinderella, and the pumpkin carriage. Additionally, you'll be able to see statues of your childhood cartoon heroes like Red Kit, the Daltons, Popeye, Mickey Mouse, and the Smurfs.

And toys... In the museum, which houses 3,000 toys, toys produced in Europe and around the world from the 1800s to the 1980s are exhibited.

How to get to the Antalya Toy Museum?

Located at Selçuk Yat Liman? Street, Number 112, this museum is easily accessible if you are in the city center. You can even walk there. However, if you are coming from other districts, you'll need to use public transportation, a taxi, or your private car. If you don't have your own car or prefer not to drive, you can rent a chauffeur-driven vehicle to get here much more comfortably and quickly. The Antalya Toy Museum invites everyone who wants to have a pleasant time with their children and adults who want to relive their childhood.
