Adrasan : A Paradise Corner in Antalya

In Antalya, the heart of Turkey's tourism sector, there are many historical and natural beauties to explore. There are so many places to visit and see! If you have a long holiday planned, you can explore many points of interest. If your journey brings you to Antalya in the summer or spring, you'll be searching for the best beach to swim in. With a coastline stretching 640 kilometers from east to west, Antalya boasts wonderful beaches and bays. They are all beautiful, but there is one place you must visit: Adrasan Bay. Located in the western districts of Antalya, in Kumluca, this bay captivates visitors with its beauty. With its nature resembling a postcard and its sea, it becomes an irresistible destination for tourists every year.

Enchanting with its magnificent sea

Adrasan, also known as Cavuskoy, derives its name from the Greek name Erdassa. The sea of Adrasan Bay is not too deep, and its beach stretches for 2 kilometers. Therefore, it is quite suitable for those who are not strong swimmers and for families with children. Swimming in its clean and transparent sea is quite enjoyable... With underwater visibility of up to 30 meters, it is also ideal for diving.

Apart from swimming, it is recommended to take a boat tour. Especially in recent years, the boat tour to Suluada, dubbed Turkey's Maldives, has become quite popular. This place attracts attention not only for its beauty but also for its health benefits. It is said that drinking its water on an empty stomach helps to pass kidney stones. Additionally, while in Adrasan, you can also explore the bays of Sazak and Genoese on a boat tour. Besides the boat tour, when you visit Adrasan, you can engage in activities such as surfing and water skiing.

The Adrasan region attracts attention not only for its sea but also for its lush green nature surrounded by pine forests and historical sites. When you visit Adrasan, you can see remnants from the Hellenistic period and nearby ancient cities. Add Adrasan Bay to your list of places to visit in Antalya to escape the city noise and enjoy nature.

How to get there?

Adrasan is located 95 kilometers from the center of Antalya. You can drive here through Kemer, which is nearby. Pass through Tekirova, Ulupinar, and the Olympos turnoff, then follow the Adrasan sign on the left. After about 12 kilometers, you will reach Adrasan Bay. If you don't have a car, there is public transportation available, but if you prefer a faster, more comfortable, and luxurious way of transportation, you can rent a chauffeured vehicle.
