Being an archaeological site, Beldibi Cave holds the distinction of being Antalya's second Prehistoric center. It is possible to see traces of prehistoric eras in this cave... Beldibi Cave has been found to contain 6 layers with traces from the Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic periods. Archaeological excavations have unearthed pottery fragments from the Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods, tools made of flint, knives, sickles, shells of marine animals, and arrowheads. Some animal and human paintings were also found on the walls of this rock shelter discovered in 1956.
How to get there?
Beldibi Cave is located at Obakoy, 40 kilometers on the Antalya-Kemer coastal road, at the exit of the Camdag tunnel. To reach the cave, you can take Beldibi minibusses departing from Antalya Bus Terminal or use vehicles departing from the center of Kemer. However, it is advisable to come by private car or rent a chauffeured vehicle. This way, you can reach the cave quickly and comfortably.
This cave, which attracts considerable interest from both domestic and foreign tourists, is open 24 hours every day of the week. It's worth noting that entry to Beldibi Cave is free.
