Located in the westernmost part of Ortakent Yahshi region in Mugla’s Bodrum district, Camel Beach got its name from the camels that used to lie on its sandy shores and the camel wrestling matches held here. When you visit, you can see the camels and even take a ride on them along the beach. Besides its famous camels, this beach also stands out for its crystal-clear sea and sandy shore. The sea is so clear and clean that it resembles an aquarium, allowing you to spot fish while swimming. Additionally, the sea is calm and not too deep, making it a favorite spot for families with children and novice swimmers. With its sandy bottom, Camel Beach allows you to comfortably enter the sea without water shoes, and the entirely sandy coastline also provides an opportunity for children to play in the sand.

At Camel Beach, besides enjoying the sea, sand, and sun, you can also indulge in water sports such as parasailing, sailing, and windsurfing. Additionally, you can take a stroll along the shore. You can find food and drinks at the restaurants, cafes, and buffets on the beach.
