A Serene Journey into the Blues of Turunc Bay

If you want to immerse yourself in the azure waters of Marmaris this summer, soaking up the sun all day and enjoying a day filled with fun activities, you should visit Turunc  Bay. You can embark on this journey to beauty either by sea or by land. Where is Turunc  Bay, how to get there, and what to do there? We'll answer all these questions for you.

Turunc  is one of the most preferred holiday resorts in Marmaris... Situated on the eastern part of the Bozburun Peninsula, this resort used to be a fishing settlement. Nowadays, it's a popular tourist spot. This village attracts many local and foreign tourists every year, especially with its magnificent bay.

What to Do in Turunc Bay?

Just like in many places in Marmaris, the sea in this bay is extraordinary... With its blue flag, sandy, and shallow waters, you won't want to leave the sea here. Moreover, the beach is also beautiful... In Turunc  Bay, you can spend the whole day enjoying the sea, sand, and sun with your children.

There are also many restaurants and cafes in Turunc  Bay where you can dine. You can spend a pleasant time in these places, tasting local dishes and seafood.

The crystal-clear sea, like an aquarium, also offers opportunities for diving. In this bay, where many fish swim, you can also go fishing in the spring and summer seasons.

If you want to take a break from the sea and participate in activities, you can climb the mountain, go on a jeep safari, or take a walk. We especially recommend visiting Palamut Hill, where pine trees are abundant. If you're interested in history, you can also visit the ancient city of Amos, located near the bay. Additionally, you can visit other tourist spots in the area, such as Amos Bay, Azmak River, Gunnucek, and Kumlubuk.

How to Get to Turunc Bay?

The closest airport to this village in Turunc  in the Marmaris district is located in Dalaman. Turunc  Bay is 140 kilometers away from Dalaman Airport, and 20 kilometers away from Marmaris. This village is also accessible by road. If you don't have a car, you can use minibusses. However, if you prefer a more comfortable, luxurious, and faster mode of transportation, you can rent a chauffeured car. This way, you can enjoy the journey and safely reach your destination under the guidance of experienced drivers.
